With great regret we have to inform you that David Shepherd, long-term member of BACA and our Honorary Executive for many years, died on Saturday.
His long career included a spell in the merchant navy, working for BOAC and Bales Tours, and being one of the founders of Skyfreight in Fleet Street.
David was very well known to most of our older members, and will be sadly missed.
The funeral will be held at 2:30pm at St Andrews Church, Walberswick, (near Southwold) Suffolk on Monday 6 February. The nearest train station is Darsham (2 hours from Liverpool Street via Ipswich, and a 10 minute taxi ride from Walberswick).
